One of our loyal account customers is doing a local landscaping job in Euxton, Chorley. He started off with 150mm gritstone and grit sand mixed in for added drainage and stability, this created a well compacted sub base for the back garden.

After that the Ardmore team worked out desired levels and had loose bulk loads delivered of Granite MOT (40 – dust). Once compacted it gave the lads a strong and stable surface to start laying the porcelain tiles on.
Then for the mortar mix to lay the porcelain tiles the lads used a blend of 0-4mm granite dust, 0-2mm washed grit sand and our Premium+ high strength cement. This created an extremely strong mix to ensure no movement when paired with priming slurry on the back of the flags.
Once the flags were all cut and laid the lads used the Ultascape Flowpoint external grout to fill all the gaps and give a modern high-quality finish. The Flowpoint external grout is a high strength cement based product that is mixed with water to fill all the voids between the flags and comes in 2 colours, Charcoal and Natural grey.
