Highfield is looking for a professional, reliable HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team at our Leyland depot. You’ll deliver aggregates to customers throughout the North West in a full-time, contract role.
We’re looking for someone who takes safety seriously, communicates well with customers and the Transport Office, and has a record of good attendance and reliability.
The Role
• Deliver aggregates to customers throughout the North West.
• Follow the health and safety requirements relevant to the role.
• Work in line with drivers’ hours, the Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations.
• Communicate clearly with customers and the Transport Office.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Highfield well.
• Work closely with the wider team.

Salary: From £14.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, contract
Requirements: Clean Category C licence, valid CPC Card and Driver Card
Experience: 1 year of driving experience required
What You'll Need
• A clean Category C licence.
• A valid CPC Card and digital tachograph card.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• A good understanding of drivers’ hours, the Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations.
• A strong understanding of the health and safety legislation relevant to the role.
• Good communication skills, a strong team ethic and a reliable attendance record.
